I've known I wanted to be a pediatrician since grade
school. After my undergraduate studies at the
University of Illinois, I continued my Medical School
education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
I moved to Phoenix and completed my residency training at the Phoenix Hospitals
Affiliated Pediatrics Program. I am certified
by the American Board of Pediatrics and have practiced
pediatrics since 1998. I am married with
three wonderful children - Austin (12), Grant(9), Jenna
(5). |

After one of my many ear infections at the age of
six, I told my mom that I wanted to be a doctor.
The rest is history! I completed my undergraduate
studies at the University of Maryland and went on to
medical school at the University of Arizona. I
followed my husband to Phoenix and completed a
residency at the
Phoenix Hospitals Affiliated Pediatrics Program. I
am a board certified pediatrician and have enjoyed
practicing the art of pediatric medicine in a
private practice setting since 1998. I am married
with three lively, happy children - Ray (9), Chloe
(7), and Evan (5).

I have always wanted to work with children.- While an undergraduate at Arizona State University obtaining my bachelors in psychology, I was a preschool teacher's assistant, did research with children, and was a cognitive-behavioral therapist for children with autism. I determined that medicine would be the best way for me to combine my loves of children and science and went to the University of Arizona for medical school. I love Arizona, so I stayed for the Phoenix Children's Hosptial-Maricopa Medical Center Pediatric Residency program. I am married with two little princesses,
Clara (4) and Aubrey (1).

I grew up in the East Valley and
graduated from Dobson High school. I received a
Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of
Arizona. Knowing that I had a passion for medicine,
I decided to pursue a Masters degree in physician
assistant studies at the Arizona School for Health
Sciences. Physician assistants are health care
professionals licensed to practice medicine with
physician supervision. As a PA in pediatric practice
since 1999, I conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat
illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on
preventive health care, and write prescriptions.
I am certified by the National
Commission of Physician Assistants, and a member of the
state and national PA organizations. I am married with
two sons, Trent (8) and Eric(6).

I
grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from the University of Colorado
with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology. While
working with children in this field, and always having
had a passion for medical science, I decided that I
would like to combine counseling and teaching in the
field of Nursing. I went back to school and
obtained a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing
from ASU. I bring over 30 years of experience
caring for the children of the East Valley as a
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certified by the Pediatric
Nursing Certification Board. I am on the faculty of the
University of Phoenix, teaching both graduate and
undergraduate programs in Nursing. I enjoy visiting my
daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in California in my free time. |
